The closest international airport to Heidelberg is Frankfurt Airport at a distance  of roughly 60 kms. In the following we describe how to get to Heidelberg and to the Conference site. Heidelberg is well connected to the airport, it is likely that you will find a fitting train or bus connection at any time of the day.

Lufthansa Shuttle:
The most convinient way is to take the Lufthansa
Bus from the Airport and arrive directly to Downtown Heidelberg.
Departure Location: Airport Frankfurt Terminal 1, Gate B, Level 1 Arrival, Exit B3).
Departure times:  8:00, 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 15:00, 16:00, 17:00, 18:00, 19:00, 22:00, 23:00

The trip takes 1 hour 15 minutes. The return trip costs 35 EUR and can be booked in advance as a flight (you can use the Lufthansa site); tickets can also be bought from the bus driver. Additional Information can be found here.
