Blair Conn (Astrophysicist - MPIA)

My main research focus is on understanding the outer disk of the Milky Way through Multi-band Wide Field photometry coupled with multi-object spectroscopy.
I’m interested in learning more about the structures present in these regions and what they can tell us about how the Milky Way formed and through what processes.
I also have an interest in collisional ring galaxies and have an ongoing project related to transient search for extra-solar planets.
