I'm working since 2007 as a team member in the MPIA theory group of planet and star formation. For my work I cover two fields of research: The study and development of the magneto rotational instability (MRI) in proto-planetary disks as well as the development and testing of new conservative finite volume methods for ideal and non-ideal MHD with radiative transfer.
