Greetings, and welcome to my homepage. I am a post-doc at the Max-Planck
Institute for Astronomy, working with
Hubert Klahr and his
planet and star formation theory group.
I recently (Feb 2009) graduated in
theoretical planetary sciences at Uppsala
University, working on hydrodynamical modelling of accretion disks and
planet formation.
You can check out some more details here on my thesis defense talk
([pdf] or
[open office]). You can also follow this
link for videos of my latest computer simulations.
I perform these simulations with the Pencil Code , which I am a co-developer. Pencil is a sixth order finite difference magnetohydrodynamics code that is highly modular and versatile.
Although I did my PhD in (planetary) theory, I am also a (stellar) observer, having worked on optical spectroscopy of solar type stars and optical and infrared photometry of young open clusters. Here you can find a description of my work on different fields and the related publications.
