Welcome to the Heidelberg database of molecular and continuum observations of prestellar cores - CORSET!

This database, called CORSET is devoted to provide the molecular line spectral maps for the well studied prestellar cores. The idea behing the CORSET is to collect as many spectral maps as possible with a good resolution for the selected objects and to provide the complementary set of molecular lines. These maps can be used by people who develop the chemo-dynamical models of the prestellar cores and who wish to compare their models with observations. The pre-selected prestellar cores may be used as the reference standards to compare the models developed by different scientific groups. The CORSET includes the single-dish and interferometric spectral maps of the commonly used molecular tracers such as CO, CS, HCO+, N2H+ and NH3. Also, the maps of the dust continuum emission (e.g. 1.3 mm) for a number of cores are available.
