Travel
For reaching the site, please refer to IWH's description here.
Travel time from FRA Airport is 1 - 1.5 hrs.,
Arrival is planned for the morning of the 13th of April. Please note that the exoplanet session of the parallel ESO workshop on science with ELTs and JWST is scheduled for the 15th of April. Travel time to ESO from downtwon Heidelberg is about 4:20 to 5:20 door to door.
Accomodation
IWH provides a limited number of rooms directly at the conference site. These are:- 4 single rooms for €65,- per night
- 6 double rooms for €95,- per night*
- 2 Appartments for €105,- per night (up to 3 persons)*
Otherwise, IWH is situated in the heart of Heidelberg's "Old Town", so there are plenty of Hotels within easy walking distance which you can (and have to) book yourself:
